Consider an internship at the Native American Women's Health Education Resource Center and the Women's Lodge!
Internships range from three months to one year, with three months being the absolute minimum stay. A résumé with references is required, and we will need to know the time frame you expect to be here. We will let you know promptly whether or not you have been selected for an internship. We are able to put résumés on hold until a later date if your plans change in the meantime, but no positions can be held. Priority will be given to those wishing to stay six months or longer. Lake Andes, South Dakota, where the Resource Center is located, is rural and has a population of approximately 1029. Lake Andes is based on the Yankton Sioux Reservation, which is 64 square miles and consists of several small reservation communities.
